DojoToolkit.org Request for Comments
The new website has been online for a while now. Not too terribly long, but long enough for users to form an opinion about it. We'd like to know what those opinions are, and this post is exactly where we'd like to see them. You all know that we start using Drupal for our website since it provides a fully featured Content Management System that is just oozing with features and modules that are capable of providing our users with a better experience when browsing DojoToolkit.org.

2 changes have taken affect today.
I have just enabled the ratings module on all content types. Please use this responsibly as it will provide yet a better means of sorting content by relevance and quality. Abuse of the system will result in changes to stop the offending parties, so please please dont waste peoples time by rating stuff inconsistently or just to get it noticed.

For those of you that haven't found it yet, there is a link in the new menu system called "Planet Dojo". This link is basically a link to the new sites News Aggregator which includes many RSS feeds from around the web. Since this is the first time we've mentioned this feature, I'm including a breakdown of the 3 categories and the feeds associated with them as well as the tag line or title associated with each site.

The Dojo Community Resouces project has not been forgotten! Lately there have been many comments to the mailing lists regarding my last article requesting input on a Dojo Community Resource website. Well it hasn't been forgotten.

As everyone knows, the Dojo community has been expanding at an enourmous rate since the release of Dojo 0.3.0, and with it that growth has come the question; "Where can we find Dojo resources on the web, that aren't direct products of The Dojo Foundation?".

With the upcoming release of Dojo 0.4.0 approaching ever so quickly, an updated version of DatePicker has been released. Over the past few months many people have been crying out for new features for dojo.widget.DatePicker. Over the past 2 months, these cries have been met with more and more improvemnets. The most recent one being i18n support for the text displayed in DatePicker. This was a great achievement and made the DatePicker that much more fiendly for people around the world to use. With that being said, lets get on with the new and improved DatePicker.
